Cerrone Coker is an associate at The Law Office of B.A. Thomas, LLC. Her focus is employment law issues specific to teachers. Her legal experience prior to joining The Law Office of B. A. Thomas, LLC included handling cases involving employment law disputes arising under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
Ms. Coker received her J.D. from the University of Georgia, School of Law where she served as Notes Editor of the Georgia Journal of Intellectual Property, the President of the American Constitution Society, and the Vice President of the Labor and Employment Law Association. She received the CALI Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement in the law of Corporations. Ms. Coker also served as the National Moot Court Specialist for the National Black Law Student Association and participated as a member of The University of Georgia’s Frederick Douglass Moot Court Team.
Ms. Coker earned her B.A. from Spelman College. She also served as the captain of the Morehouse College Cheerleading squad. Ms. Coker is a member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia and is a member of the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys.
